Polls close September 30

Mississauga, ON- The competition is heating up as voting continues for the best restroom in all of Canada. Fans in Calgary are going wild over the Calgary Zoo, while in the east, Niagara locals are debating whether Shaw Club Hotel & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake or Planet Hollywood in Niagara Falls has the better loo.

This year’s five finalists have set a new standard for restroom quality, with washrooms reflecting the individual proprietors’ sense of taste and style. Our nominees feature unique design elements, customer comforts and functional flare.

“It’s interesting to see the variety of our finalists in this year’s contest, and the fans are excited too,” says Rachael Keshishian, Survey Editor for Cintas Canada’s Best Restroom Contest. “In addition to restaurants and hotels, we are excited to have other types of facilities stepping up to provide quality to their customers.”

The public can vote at www.bestrestroom.com/canada through September 30th. Last year’s winner of the Canada’s Best Restroom contest was the Valleyview Shell Super Station in Alberta. Its eco-friendly design, geo-thermal heating and cooling technology and Victorian style chandeliers generated nationwide buzz.

The champion of the 5th Annual Cintas Canada’s Best Restroom Contest will be revealed during a nationally publicized media event this fall and will be awarded $2,500 in Cintas
services. Both the winner and runner-up will secure a place in the Hall of Fame.
